As concerns about diet and health
continue to increase, it is important to know how the great taste of lean beef can
successfully fit into every lifestyle. The Idaho Beef Council is pleased to offer a wide
variety of beef education programs to clubs, organizations, and classrooms. Trained
Consumer Education Specialists are available to present informative programs such as:
- Eating Smart -- Even when youre pressed for time
- Beef Fits -- How to incorporate lean beef into low-fat, well balanced
diets
- Great Grilling -- Recipes and techniques for great outdoor barbecues
- Sterling Advice -- Lifestyle, diet and exercise for the silver years
- Plating It Safe -- A market-to-mealtime checklist to help keep food
safe
- Quick and Easy Beef -- Teaching tomorrows consumers about easy,
versatile beef
- Other beef nutrition and cookery programs tailored to the requests of
individual groups and organizations
Each program can be designed to fit individual program needs, from 20 minutes to one
hour. A minimum of 20 people is requested to schedule a program. All attendees will
receive recipes and nutritional information appropriate to the program presented.
There is no charge to groups or organizations for these programs, nor is there any
product sold. The Idaho Beef Council offers this service and information to Idaho
consumers courtesy of all Idaho beef producers and the beef check-off program. For more
information, or to schedule a beef presentation, please contact the Idaho Beef Council.
