Gochujang glazed Korean short ribs

Forget chicken wings, we're making Gochujang glazed Korean short ribs for our game-day celebration! Cheeky BBQ uses Gochujang sauce, brown sugar, and garlic to bring a sweet and spicy flavor to flanken-cut beef short ribs. If you're thinking, "I don't have time to make short ribs while I'm hosting friends and family, " you'll be happy to learn that these only take 4-6 minutes on the grill. Hungry for more?   • 2 pounds flanken cut beef short ribs
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce 
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil 
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  •  2 tsp garlic minced 
  • ⅓ cup gochujang sauce
  •  ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp green onion


  1. Whisk marinade ingredients into a large bowl until completely combined
  2. Toss flanken cut short ribs in marinade until even coated. Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour, but optimally overnight 
  3. Once ready to cook, turn the grill on high (500-600°F) and let grill get hot. Place ribs evenly on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side
  4. Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes. Dice green onions as a garnish. Serve and enjoy 

Serving suggestion: Use kitchen shears to cut in between the bones for easier eating.
